• John Calvin (Reformed), Calvin's Commentaries on Daniel 2:29: He again confirms what I have just touched upon, for he wished to impress this upon the king’s mind — that God was the author of the dream, to induce the king to prepare for its interpretation with becoming sobriety, modesty, and docility.
