We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.
11. And we desire, etc. As he blended with exhortation, lest he should altogether grieve their minds; so he now freely reminds them of what was still wanting in them, lest his courtesy should appear to have in it any flattery.
